WOW!  Another season is just beginning.  It’s going to be a very exciting and busy year.  The York Synchro Board of Directors and all the coaches would like to take this opportunity to welcome all new and returning members.

2009 – 2010 CALENDAR OF EVENTS:
The 2009 – 2010 Calendar is now posted.  Please remember some dates are tentative and may change.  Check back on a regular basis for updates.

BRING A FRIEND NIGHT:

Novice & Pre-Novice: 
   We will be having a Bring a Friend Night for all Novice and Pre-Novice swimmers at 6:15pm on Friday May 7th at the Metro pool of the Magna Centre.

Competitive:
  We will be having a Bring a Friend Night for all Competitive swimmers at 6:15pm on Tuesday June 15th at the pool of the  Aurora Recreation Complex.

YORK SYNCHRO YEAR END WATER SHOW:

Friday May 14th  

6-6:30 pm  change and land drill practice 
6:30 - 7 pm   warm up in pool & doors open to viewing gallery for spectators
 7 - 9:30 pm Water Show

Where:  Metro pool at the Magna Centre
Who:   all competitive, novice and pre-novice swimmers
Spectators:  All are welcome to attend.  Please feel free to invite family, friends and relatives to this event.
Cost:  Adult  $5.00   and   Child  $2.00

YORK SYNCHRO AWARDS DINNER & DANCE:

Friday June 18th at 6pm

Where: Glenway Country Club
             470 Crossland Gate, Newmarket

Who:  All are welcome to attend!  All competitive, novice & pre-novice swimmers, coaches, parents and family           

SUMMER 2010 SYNC ‘N FIT:
York Synchro will be running our Sync ‘n Fit program for all competitive swimmers on Tuesday & Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the St. Andrew’s College pool from July 6th until August 12th.  This is a conditioning program that combines both swimming and synchro skills.  This is not a stroke development program for those who need help with their basic swimming strokes.

YORK SYNCHRO SUMMER CAMP:
All novice & pre-novice swimmers are welcome to attend our summer camp.  Please note that for all of our competitive swimmers this is the beginning of York Synchro 2010-2011 competitive season and is mandatory.  The camp is scheduled for Monday to Friday August 23 - 27 and Monday to Thursday August 30 - September 2 from 9 am – 5 pm
