With our training season well underway, and fundraising activities at an all time high, and figure workouts and Star Testing just around the corner, and routines in full development mode, it is a time at Newmarket Synchro when it all feels like there is just no end to the …WORK!!!!! For swimmers, coaches and volunteer parents alike, it seems like most days are a list of never-ending to-do’s. Alas…so when are we going to make some time for real FUN???

Thank Goodness for HALLOWEEN!! A dress-up party, some games, some prizes, NO workout, No figures, No practice…but just some time for Lots of FUN!!!

Just over half of our Club’s athletes, and most of our coach’s, came together for some Halloween Fun! The costumes were fabulous, making the judging really hard, but here are some notable results, although everyone WON in the enthusiasm category. Shelby, Sarah, Morgan, Leah, Erin, Patricia, Ali, Natalie and more, all received Halloween Certificates. The Judging Panel was Coach Jenn, Coach Kendra, Coach Laura and Coach Lauren. Coach MJ and Coach Sarah were actually trying to conduct a meeting (with a few distractions).

The games were creative and made for lots of finger snapping, clapping, laughing and more fun. The certificates were cool and will no doubt be added to the many personal swimmers’ scrapbooks…and the treats were yummy…and we will not include them in our discussions on nutritional value…but they were part of the FUN!!

In the end, we came together and played together as one, we treated ourselves to friendship and games and laughter and prizes and treats and just a whole lot of FUN!!! For more HALLOWEEN FUN pictures, Click Here.
