Spectacular, is one of the few words that could possibly describe our 2005 Spring Watershow.and our athletes & coaches who made it all possible. They are the best!! Thank you for giving us reason to celebrate!

S is for Special Is what each swimmer is.
P is for Participation The likes of which we've never seen before.
E is for Excellence What we strive hard for every day.
C is for Coaches We have the best around.
T is for Teamwork Synonymous with Synchro.
A is for Achievement To do the best we can.
C is for Consistent Part of the master plan.
U is for Unbelievable The great successes we've had.
L is for Labour A Labour of Love is Synchro!
A is for Amazing In Body, Mind and Spirit!
R is for Resplendent A true joy for all to see!

Spectacular was the Venue at the Etobicoke Olympium as Newmarket Synchro celebrated our Spring Spectacular Banquet and Watershow event. This was another 'first' for us, in a season that has been filled with a record number of firsts for our Club. The Olympic Lounge for dinner, overlooking the Olympic sized pool as a backdrop, proved to be the perfect setting to a wonderful evening. For the Watershow, the pool gave us perfect spectator viewing, where we could all be together for a single spectacular show, and the swimmers were able to do a full dress rehearsal getting ready for Tiers in Waterloo at the end of the month.

Spectacular was the dinner, catered by Portofino 's Italian Restaurant and we were spoiled by the wonderful buffet created and served par excellance.

And spectacular were the decadent desserts, served gloriously after the show for all, so generously donated by the new Dolce Cabana restaurant in Aurora .

Spectacular was the display of baskets, created with perfection by Gabriella Craparotta (Natalie - Tier 3), and filled with love by the many parents and swimmers of each team. To all who contributed, and to our Corporate donors who were so generous in their support to our Raffle and Silent Auction Items, we are truly grateful. This Club and community spirit is a wonderful thing for our athletes to be a part of.

Spectacular were the many volunteers that came and worked together to make this "first' time affair a major success. Guided by Anne Marie Gelinas (Carlin Jessop- Tier 2), as Event Coordinator, the entire evening, became one which many wonderful memories are certain to be made of.

Spectacular was the Audience whose participation and applause filled the air with excitement and gave the swimmers and coaches, the encouragement and recognition they so rightly earned with their spectacular performances. We had over 300 people at the Olympium for this event, and it was a sight to behold.

Your attendance, support, signs of appreciation and your pride in their accomplishments, are what make them all strive that much harder for excellence in this beautiful sport. Thank you for making it all possible.

Spectacular were our Special Guests. Thank you Leslie Taylor, Sheilagh Croxon and Kerri Morgan for sharing the evening with us and bringing our swimmers up close and personal with a world that many of their dreams are made of. Thank you also to Leilani & Luna from Puerto Rico, and Nina and Lisa from New Zealand , for your exceptional performances, and showing our swimmers, our parents and spectators, what striving for excellence in synchronized swimming is all about. You will be forever welcome at Newmarket Synchro as Honorary Club Members and we look forward to cheering you on at World's. Thank You also to our fine musicians, Sara, Cameron, Phylicia aand Will, who brought beautiful sounds of live music to our program. The gentle sounds of the flute and the glorious rendition of our National Anthem, made us all take note and stand proud for the wondrous event unfolding around us.

Spectacular were our Swimmers and Coaches, under the guiding hand of our spectacular Head Coach Mary-Jane Ling, who for two hours performed and entertained a full house. A record number of over 80 smiling athletes turned the Olympium deck and water into a beautiful showcase we are sure to remember for a long time. On this night, we had the time of our lives.and we owe it all to you!! You came, you swam and you conquered the hearts of all who saw the efforts of your labour this season. We have so much talent and passion for synchro among you, and you are an inspiration to us all!
