Despite the bitter cold weather, our Newmarket swimmers were "hot" at the Provincial Trials in Waterloo this past weekend.

Newmarket Synchro was entered in seven events, and proudly stood with six podium finishes.

Special Mention and Congratulations go out to the following podium finishes:

Ali Davies - 1 st place in Tier 5 Figures.

Tier 6/7 Combo - 2 nd place (Team members are: Mandy Corbett, Jennifer Dwyer, Tamara Elson, Danielle Hoey, Kendra Jacobs, Jacquelyn King, Sarah Stroud and Laura Towsley).

Tier 7 Sr. Duet - 2 nd place (Danielle Hoey and Kendra Jacobs)

Jocelyn Bourrie - 4 th place in Tier 5 Figures

Patricia Moore - 5 th place in Tier 4 Figures.  

Fallyn Thompson - 5 th place in Tier 2 Figures

Most of our swimmers came home with having achieved new personal bests and are all to be commended for a job well done. A great start to the Competitive Season!!
