5 Podium Finishes at
Waterloo Regional Invitational Routine Meet

Newmarket Synchro made their mark at the Waterloo Regional Invitational Routine Meet on Saturday, making five trips to the podium out of seven events entered. Red and Gold club colours, stood tall and proud receiving their awards in the following categories:
Tier 5 Duet - Jocelyn Bourrie and Ali Davies - 2 nd place finish for the Silver Medal.
Tier 5 Team - Jocelyn Bourrie, Ali Davies, Katie Hildebrant, Erin Milner and Patricia Moore - 3 rd place finish for the Bronze Medal .
Tier 3 Team - Catherine Bourrie, Holly Caldwell, Natalie Craparrotta, Melanie Fairbarn, Leah Gater, Lea Gucciardi, Vanessa Laxton, Morgan Pulchinski, & Sarah Storms -3 rd place finish for the Bronze Medal .
Tier 4/5 Combo Team - Jocelyn Bourrie, Ali Davies, Holly Caldwell, Leah Gater, Lea Gucciardi, Erin Milner, Patricia Moore, and Morgan Pulchinski - 4 th place finish .
Tier 1 Team - Caitlin Bate, Stephanie Bourrie, Sarah Condie, Shelby Harding, Melissa Norrie, Celine Oliver, and Lisa Sanders - 4 th place finish .
The Waterloo Regional Invitational Meet, annually kicks off the competitive season for Tiers 1-5 routines, and this year was strongly attended by over 300 athletes. The meet showcases much of the talent of the upcoming competitive season, and is attended by many clubs from across the province.
Our coaches have done an amazing job this year in creating a vibrant, unique and original set of routines using awesome music. Our beautiful bathing suit creations capture the essence of our themes and are a great reflection of our choreography. Lastly and most importantly, our athletes have stepped up to the challenge, and make us very proud indeed. We have shown the synchro community that we are up for the challenges that lay ahead, and look forward with excitement to the upcoming competitions. Congratulations to all our swimmers!
