York Synchro had another successful weekend at the Ontario Championships.  Tier 6 swimmer, Ali, had an outstanding swim and finished well enough to qualify for Phase 2 of the Tier 7 Junior Provincial Team Trials.  Erin and Holly also had incredible swims which qualified them for Phase 2 of the 13 – 15 Provincial Team Trials.  This is a first for York swimmers – WAY TO GO GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rounding out the weekend the Tier 6 Open Team captured first in routine and second overall, while the Tier 6 Combo took second.  In the Tier 6 Open figure category Ali was golden and paired with teammate Erin placed fourth overall in the Tier 6 Open Duets.  Jocelyn and Catherine finished fifth in routine and Lea and Holly placed eight in routine. 

Our Tier 6 – 15 & Under Team was awesome finishing in seventh place, Alina took eight in solo and paired with Shelby grabbed ninth spot in duet followed closely by Celyn and Lisa in tenth.

What a fantastic meet for all the girls.  It's onward and upward to Divisionals at the end of March!
